The largest share of homes in Columbia Heights was built in the 1950s and 1960s. A kitchen in a house of that age was usually laid out small, with the sink, the stove and the work surface close together. Cabinets are where you get counter space and storage back.
Custom cabinets are built to the size of the room, so they fit the kitchen you have. You choose the number and type of shelves, the storage inside, the finish and the hardware.
